Reasons Why You Get Chronic Disease & What You Can Do About It

5 Major Reasons Why You Get Chronic Disease & What You Can Do About It

From A Reformed Pharmacist Who Healed Himself Without Medication DSC09294 (1)

1. Doing A Job You Hate

At a life transforming seminar by Tony Robbins I learned that job dissatisfaction may be one of the leading causes of heart disease.

From my own research the evidence quite clearly states that chronic stress is a primary cause of all chronic diseases and there is nothing more stressful than doing a job you hate!

What Can You Do About It?

Back when I was looking for way out of the job that I had grown to hate…

I decided to work more on myself than on my job. I started to learn everything I could about creating other forms of income. From internet marketing to selling digital and physical products on places like Clickbank and Amazon.

When I was sick I spoke to an occupational health advisor who got me some valuable time off so I could focus on my escape plan. It paid off massively.

I've now fired my boss, live a life of endless summers, love my business as it's based around my passion and am surrounded by and work with my best friends.

Your job, career or business becomes who you are if you spend most of your day doing it, so make sure that's someone you respect and admire if you want to be good to yourself.

2. Feeling Like You Don't Fit In Or Have Little Or No Significance

Several years ago I read an amazing book by Dr Malcolm Kendrick about the true causes of heart disease. He found those immigrants who came from ethnic backgrounds such as Africans and Indians were more prone to heart attacks and early onset of heart disease.

He found that social dislocation from the social environment they are more used to back in their native countries leads to emotional stress from a feeling of not belonging. I felt this myself as a pharmacist often working around people I had very little in common with for long periods of time.

After discovering the research of Robert Sapolsky, who has spent the past 37 years studying wild baboons on the plains of East Africa, I began to make some astonishing discoveries about the true nature of disease.

In his studies, Sapolsky found many of the baboons were suffering from increased heart rates, high blood pressure and elevated stress hormones.

This posed an interesting question…

If the baboons were living in their ideal environment and eating their ideal natural diet, then what could be causing them to suffer from these same health related problems as modern humans?

Intrigued by this finding Sapolsky further observed the baboons to have an intricate hierarchical social structure, just like modern humans. Those at the top of the social ladder were the most dominant alpha males, those at the bottom were the inferior subordinates.

Within this hierarchy the alpha males would assert their dominance over the lower subordinates through physical violence and bullying. This behaviour, it appears, is common across all primate species, including humans.

Sapolsky's studies then revealed those at the bottom of social hierarchy were the ones with the highest blood pressure, increased heart rates and elevated levels of stress hormones.

Even though the wild baboons were living in what we would consider a natural way, in harmony with nature, they were still suffering from what we call ‘stress'.

And this stress was killing the ones at the bottom of the social ladder faster than the ones at the top.

What Can You Do About It?

We absorb so much energy from our surroundings, good and bad. Finding a new community online of like minded people through Youtube, Facebook and SOMA Breath I believe changed my life for the good, it can for you too!

If you are sick from a chronic illness like I had you can get time off work and can claim some benefits to help you manage the bills, then use this precious time to really plan out the dream life that you always wanted. Speak to an occupational health advisor. My one was brilliant and my place of work gave me a lot of extra support and time off because of her recommendations.

I used that time to build my own online businesses so that I did not have to go back to work, and you can do something similar with your time too, if you use it wisely!

Being able to work from home is a godsend, and also means I don't have to go back to that horrible negative environment!

If your job really sucks, now is the time to do something about it. If you are being bullied in a relationship of if your relationship is emotionally traumatic, get some help fast and fix it, or end or take a break from the relationship for the sake of your health.

3. Wrong Fuel For Your Mind & Body

Imagine putting diesel in a petrol engine. Your car would just spit and chug, and probably break down.

This is what people are doing every single day, putting the wrong fuel into our highly sophisticated super genius bio engines!

Your body loves whole foods containing an abundance of essential oils, amino acids, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

What your body hates is dead, processed factory foods high in refined carbs and low in quality protein.

What Can We Do About It?

According to the ancient healing systems of India and China, healing begins in the gut and most diseases start from dysfunctions of your digestive system.

Modern science has shown that your gut is a major part of your immune system, with an eco-system of good and bad bacteria and that even your emotions are linked to the health of your gut.

Here are simple ways to make sure you gut is health and happy:

Probiotics – get a high quality supplement (usually ones you have to keep refrigerated) or include fermented foods like bio-yogurt, sauerkraut, kombucha, kefir and kimchi, to feed your gut, good beneficial bacteria that help you digest food, absorb nutrients and maintain a healthy immune system.

Reduce or completely eliminate refined sugar, carbs, gluten and toxic chemicals from your diet. Basically, avoid food made in a factory.

This will stop feeding your bad bacteria and will help prevent issues that lead to toxins being absorbed back into your system and malabsorption of nutrients.

Colostrum – my number one health supplement. Backed by over 4000 studies for its amazing immune-boosting properties. It can help aid the repair and healing of the gut as it is a potent source of growth factors, antibodies and essential nutrition.

Make sure you get whole, organic, first milking colostrum where nothing has been added or taken out.

Have a diet rich in essential nutrition your body cannot produce itself.

Fish, lean grass fed, organic free range meats, and a variety of vegetable and low sugar fruits is the way to go for that. Keep your carb intake to a small amount of white rice, absolutely no grains or cereals and you can't got wrong.

4. Not Enough Daily Exercise

Yes, you've heard exercise is important. But do you really know why?

Did you know the part of your body which deals clearing toxic waste, called the lymphatic system, does not have a pump like the blood?

It relies on skeletal movement instead. Therefore inactivity results in an impaired lymphatic system.

Regular movement and aerobic exercise is essential for you to stay fit and healthy, else toxicity accumulates in your body, in fact every hour you sit each day it is said that you lose 20 minutes of your life!

What Can You Do About It?

Simply remembering to stretch and move every hour for a few minutes will do you wonders.

Then doing a little bit of exercise (much less than you probably think you need) will keep you healthy.

Maybe you think you don't have enough time to exercise?

Don't worry as you will find out you don't have to be an exercise freak, doing hours of training a day to stay fit.

A simple exercise routine that takes just 7 minutes a day, aptly called the scientific 7-minute workout is proven scientifically to boost your health better than any long boring workout.

This is known as high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and requires just a chair and a wall, with absolutely no need to go to the gym for hours on end.

You can find this as part of the BreathFit Challenge here which is designed to help you lose weight, get in shape, and create the foundation for optimal health, boundless energy, and peak performance.

5. Breathing The Wrong Way

How you breathe is one of the few things you have conscious control over, and learning breath control can help you to change the deepest parts of your physiology.

Pranayama, the ancient practice of energy control through breath, literally translates as “extension of the life force”.

When you begin to practice the discipline of deep controlled breathing you begin to start the healing process, extending your own lifeforce.

This form of deep breathing signals to your body it is time to heal and it also allows you to be more in control. Breath is where healing begins.

What can we do about it?

Your breath holds the key to any healing or transformational process.

Once you understand how to breath properly, you will also know how to reach states of deep relaxation which are MANDATORY for your body to activate it's own healing abilities.

Below you will find the Box Breathing Technique for mindfulness to help you calm down and connect with your inner self.

It will help you explore feelings of deep relaxation, mental clarity and focus.

Much love!

Niraj
