How to meditate with music to improve
your mental clarity and wellbeing

You must have by now heard of all the numerous and wonderful benefits of meditation. However are you meditating effectively? Do you struggle with meditation? Do you want to learn but do not know where to start? Here is a very simple method to quickly learn how to meditate by using music. Music infused with brainwave entrainment has an added benefit of bringing your mind into a meditative state.

Meditation is defined as an act of single focus. It is not about forcing yourself to empty your mind of all thoughts as many people attempt to do. It is more about your ability to concentrate on one single task. That one task could be as simple as bringing your awareness to your breath or listening to a piece of music or a single meditative tone from a tibetan bell.

By doing this you naturally quieten the activity of the verbal part of the brain, also known as the default mode network. This part of the brain when active stimulates the sympathetic nervous and creates tension. This is why when you have a lot of mental chatter and are deep in thoughts you may become tense. Tension leads to over-breathing and reduced blood flow to your organs and cells. This leads to chronic stress, pain and disease. This is why spending a bit of time a day to meditate can really help prevent disease, as well as give your mind a reset. By quieting the verbal part of the mind you allow your thought files to reassemble and you clear the clutter of the mind.

It was when I learned to meditate in this simple way that success started to finally flow into my life. It's amazing how a simple method like this can lead to such profound changes in your ability to think clearly.
