I Love My Life, thats right…

If there was a daily mantra that summed up gratitude the best it would be ‘I Love My Life'.

We all know the power of daily gratitude and the science clearly shows the benefits of it. Optimists out live pessimists by a significant amount. I mean who wants to live a long but miserable life, right?

But why do people not feel grateful?

If you don't it's not your fault…

The media programs each and every one of us every single day into believing you are not enough, or even crazier stuff like the world is going to end in 10 years…

However right now is the best time to be alive.

Yes, if you pay attention to the news it can seem like there is an overwhelming amount of bad in the world and that there’s even more bad news to come.

But the thing is, there is always tragedy in the world. There has been (and probably always will be) suffering since the dawn of time.

Media makes this news so easily accessible that it is amplified to a point where you might feel like you can hardly escape it. Where it seems like the threat is imminent and we should all be on high alert.

Take a moment right now to consider the world as it is today.

20 years ago, if someone told you you would have a handheld device that has access to endless public (and some private!) information, where you could learn anything you want, and talk to anyone in the world, would you have been able to imagine it?

Think about the way we travel, do business, connect with like-minded people, share our stories with others… How amazing it is to live the lives we have today!

Poverty, disease, homophobia, sexism, racism, and even war are all at all-time lows in our human history. And life expectancy is higher, which is great because it means you get to enjoy your life for even longer!

Our lives and the quality of our lives are shaped so dramatically by the places we direct our attention and the way we speak to ourselves and others.

Shift your attention away from the fear-based news, away from the gossip you don’t even care about, and towards the things you enjoy. What makes you happy? What do you love to do? Who do you love to be with?

I Love My Life is a song born out of gratitude. Gratitude for everything that makes our lives, from the biggest most impressive things, right down to the smallest details that could otherwise go unnoticed.

We have so much to be thankful for.

We just have to open our eyes to it sometimes…

The song has gone on to be the anthem of Afest, Mindvalley, Life Plugin and I want to thank everyone for their support, especially Sammy ShoeBox Moses Taggett for blowing it up!

Imagine if there was more positive news stories being shared, and more uplifting songs with positive lyrics and mantras, how might the world change?

Music and lyrics have the power to change the world.

So lets make this your new years eve anthem, and stick it on your morning playlist, so you start the day off feeling really really good!

And lets all start sharing more positive and inspiring news stories on FB!

The video is taken from our legendary pool parties in Koh Phangan @ Sunset Hill Resort! The music is just a short version of the full song.
